Aww man

The balance had been perfected.
Work in the early morning, classes in the afternoon, and enough time for a long lunch in between. On the weekends - drink and be merry, read a Julian Fellowes or Paulo Coelho novel, and do a long walk when the mood is right. Hell maybe even write something.
This week was the week everything changed. See, I now have homework. Essays and boring research material that will last till I finally recieve that wonderful "Do Not Bend" piece of paper in the mail. That is the purpose, but how I'm gonna get there with everything still in the balance is beyond my comprehension.
Admittedly, thinking about how I went with the study last year, I did enjoy it. It won't take me long to change my attitude, but for now the nagging sense of unfinished symphonies, novellas and homework is too much.
Nah mean?
As I sit in the college library and wait for the time to go to class, I know most of these people walking past are in the same boat. There may come a time when I meet a person worth knowing, someone who can inspire and spark interest, in this inner city educational cell. There may even be something that makes it seem even more worthwhile than the piece de academia suggests, memorable experiences anyone? You know the type that makes you smile on the inside whenever you think about it - makes you have a 'mind orgasm'.
For now, I'll have to forgo the venerable institution that is afternoon drinks and go be 'facilitated' with the rest of the class for the afternoon.
Wouldn't you like to be facilitated to?
