Facial Composition

One look is all it takes to comprehend where a person is coming from.
Upon approach, you can see how they walk and dress, maybe determine how important it is for them to get to the next destination. An easy and listless swagger in slouchy gear could suggest time is not an issue, while a calculated and brisk pace in body fitted clothes might make it seem there are places they would/should rather be.
But of course, this is all assumptions. When witnessing the face of a passer-by up close, there is an almost unconscious note of wanting where they were headed to be of a bit more importance, or a jest of curiosity implying simply they would prefer to stick around.
But then was that the passer by, or me?
It could be argued that it is not the different people in different places that make for interesting experiences, rather the individual attitude of the observer and one's previous experience that has lead to yet another unique perception of reality.
And it could be said that one's unique perception of reality can be observed by their facial composition. The furrowed brow and serious take on things, the wrinkles from smiling too much as to suggest being happy with life. And we can bring all the similar attitudes together - like smokers to the terraza or actresses to the haute couture shop - with the hope of furthering bonds within their communities and providing a place to meet on the next round.
I guess you could say us bloggers are a strange lot in that sense, and it is natural to initially turn away from a name without a face. Still we make do and carry on, with the weight of expectations from generations to come.
Some may be looking up to us, some may be looking down on us.
And some may be looking at us directly in the face. All bright eyed and bushy tailed.
