God damn milligram

December 28th 2006 12:06
So here I am, freshly shaven and clean for my early morning interview. Having been smoking various substances over the past decade I feel kinda proud that it only takes a one milligram cigarette to help me feel on top of things and ready for sleep.

But, like a Jedi Mind Trick, I sense a conspiracy.

I feel that these "ones" will be able to take me through my existence with a (hopeful) lack of an ecological footprint and no less life to spend, but who am I to say?

Damn... the powers that be are cracking down on us to the point where we no longer even know the strength of our substance of choice. At least for Australia. Does this mean they can stock Marly Lights with 16mg reds now? Even if not, will they tell us if they did?

I'm not too fussed since I know the difference (I think), and hey the all out cold turkey may be on the way.

To quote Mel Gibson's Braveheart: "They may take our lives, but they'll never take, our freedom!"

Q: Should this statement be in opposition to cigarettes, or the govt?

both; i'm reluctant to make the same ole same ole resolution... my dad who died of lung cancer this year, told me; 'we're all victims and the government are our drug dealers' ... was he right?

all the best for the interview and the 'maybe' cold turkey OO...

Thanx Lily, the interview was so-so. It is fun though, dressing dapper for the occasion - I am the king of the $300 suit (nod to Tarocash and yd for even providing for 40 inch waists).

I'm sure you've heard of those theories, like the govt in the US providing crack to hispanics and blacks. I think the ultimate pimping of the country is sending our citizens to war - or worse still denying citizenship. There's alot wrong in Australian politics today - Bob Carr was corrupted.

I figure if it wasn't cigarettes it would have been caffiene - which is just as much a screw around to get over.

Sorry about your father... the next Ice Tea is to our health...

Mel Gibson has some other fabulous quotes...just ask Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officers.
