Okay, TTFN, back soon

It is a sad state of affairs, that which I am leaving my hometown in. Bondi is intensely hot, even though its 24 degrees C. Even the tar on the street is condensating. We're experiencing tropical extremes, with pollution and big surf down the beach making it a big turn off. Need to find an alternative to cool down...
I understand its winter in the Northern Hemisphere...
I know, China! Luv those guys.
So I've decided to pack some nice warm jackets and slide north, and I mean north where its not Cyclone/Hurricane/Typhoon season. I'll even make a mission out of it by taking my video camera and getting some more video clip fodder and maybe a 'This is our city in winter' style piece from Macau. Can't wait to practice my Portuguese there.
For now, all I can say is... SUCKERS! That's for all of you who have, and even today continue to, willingly provide for a shift in climate which seems to be on everybody's lips (finally). Give us an acceptance speech! I always figured ethanol was more useful to 4WDs than alcoholics... and supercanola suited the energy market moreso than the tablespread section of the local groocer.
Hoping you all survive the midsummer madness,
Opto
