Raunch Culture Review Pt 2
March 29th 2007 11:01
A female friend currently has boy trouble. She asked for my advice. Not sure where the conversation was leading, here was what I had to say:
Some women believe personal charm works in mysterious ways. For this reason, you would find it rare for them to give a fella the eye. It may even be more common for them to give the evil eye.
Then there's the opposite side of the scale. The type to stick out in a bachelor's memory for the rest of his existence.
At 17 years of age, I was sitting across the road from a few pubs in Paddington. Two tall, slender women approached me and asked if I would like to go home with them.
"We're good to go."
I was waiting for a friend at the time, and unfortunately, youthful judgement got the better of me. I figured I'd see them again one day. These women were not scantily clad or smelling of B.O or something worse, they simply knew that we had a mutual interest.
The women that are scantily clad - you can bet they like to flirt. They can also be the type to not know what they, or I, want. As if they don't believe in the continuation of the human race. What is it, Pentacostalists?
There are also women who think they are - ahem - "all that". They're general excuse for breaking up with a bloke is "He was only after one thing." Aren't we all. The hitch being that 'we all' also includes women...
Then there was the friend I was talking to. She's the type to prefer not to be single, and her requirements to enter a relationship don't include much sexual tension, more so romanticism. I repeat, mutual and common interest - on first sight - is not hard to tell.
Express yourself with your version of charm, innocence and confidence. Your mutual interest will soon be satisfied.

I can't wait, thanks for the advice, about time I learned.
Well addressed article, everyone can learn from it, especially those 'out there looking',
what you say is spot on, with a few exceptions, of course.
Good to see you,

I felt this was a worthwhile topic, fit to print. i'm glad you agree. I wouldn't mind if you expanded on the ideas you didn't feel were true.
Hey Cib,
I see your point. But I think its worthwhile to remember the good things - use your selective memory. I find it increases confidence and our chances in general.
Bryn,
Glad you dropped by.
Good lookin...
Keep scopin'

Great advice, generally. But what about those who have people problems; and worse, what about the social retards of this world ? How can they chirp their mating call ?
I enjoyed your tips though. Insightful and to the point. Keep it up brother

I think you'll find that many of said social retards are so because they prefer a life of hermitude. People may be shocked at this, but it isn't really uncommon.
If they wanna get up and at em - hold up, you're not talking about yourself are you? Okay I'll stop this invisible third person shizzle...
Have you tried that line I suggested? I've been too busy either singing or speaking in a Scottish accent... dude, love yourself, the rest of the world will follow.
