Time has three hands

Time seems to be going by pretty slowly this millennium. Both Australia, the US and England have upgraded their leadership status just the one time. Considering that these three countries have all contributed to the anti -peace protest in the middle east, had a three man menage a tois, and kept the English speaking world on the oil-loving, somewhat racist, and conservative side of politics, change has been a horrifyingly scarce non-event.
In Australia, we've had an upgrade in waterholes where the tobacco addicted, who for a while looked like they would have to either begin to populate the majority of the political arena or perish, are now enjoying open air seating arrangements in which to enjoy - or further culminate - their addiction. It really has been a blessing for both sides in this matter as drinkers of both alcohol and coffee have found themselves enjoying the (for the most part) fine Australian weather outdoors, under the shade of a coolibah umbrella.
There are the exceptions to the fact, mainly being small bars in red light districts who cannot afford to renovate and provide that paradisical piece of mind that is the outdoor smoking area. There is also a common problem that everyone, smokers and non smokers alike, enjoy being outdoors in fine weather and the few who can't find a seat have to be left in the boring, understimulating area which makes up the indoor section.
Henceforth over time we can prove that the smoking section is officially the most popular part of most places - 'most' places meaning those which have an outdoor area that includes a view and shade of some sort. Restauranteurs and alcohol licence holders take note: you CAN buck the trend.
Here's to $500 licences in NSW. And happy hour.
